1. What is RX Fit Fuel?

RX Fit Fuel is a meal prep service that offers convenient and healthy meal options for busy individuals and families. Jessica is the owner of RX Fit Fuel and holds an Associates degree in Culinary Arts as well as a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition Science.  RX Fit Fuel prepares delicious, ready-to-eat meals that you can enjoy throughout the week.  Currently we offer delivery service for orders within the Del Rio and Laughlin AFB areas.

2. How does RX Fit Fuel work?

It's simple! On Wednesdays we release our weekly menu and open up meal plans for ordering. You then choose and purchase your preferred meal plan before Friday at Noon.  We send you an email within 1-2 days and you choose your meals from our weekly menu.  We cook, package, and deliver your meals right to your doorstep with flexible delivery options of Sunday evenings and Monday Mornings.  We also offer split delivery and the option to carefully select which meals your receive on delivery one which will be your meals for Monday-Wednesday and select your other meals for delivery two which will be your Wednesday-Friday meals.

3. What types of meals do you offer?

Our menu features a range of whole food meals. Though we can not guarantee cross contamination, gluten is never used in our cooking. We prioritize higher protein and choose carbohydrates that optimize energy and enhance flavor. We use fresh, high-quality ingredients to cater to various tastes and preferences.  At this time we do not offer Vegetarian options.

4. Can I customize my meals or make special requests?

Yes, you can! We understand that dietary restrictions and preferences vary. You can make special requests or customize your meals to fit your specific needs. Just let us know when placing your order, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.  *We can not accommodate serious food allergies at this time as we can not guarantee cross contamination, however we can accommodate food sensitivities and most requests.

5. How do I place an order?

To place an order, simply visit our website, select your desired meal plan, and follow the checkout process. You can also contact us by email:  jessicabrooks@rxfitfuel.com or in our chat for assistance with placing an order.

6. How are the meals packaged?

After several different types of packaging we determined we wanted to stick with Bentgo meal prep containers.  Bentgo containers are BPA Free, they are microwave and dishwasher safe.  These containers are better designed to preserve the freshness and flavor of the meals. Each meal is labeled with macros and heating instructions for your convenience.

7. Do you offer Free delivery?

Yes, we offer Free delivery on orders over $75. For orders under $75 the fee for delivery is $7. Our delivery area includes Del Rio and Laughlin AFB.  Special arrangements can be made for pickup as well.

8. How should I store the meals?

Our meals are designed to stay fresh for the entire week. Simply refrigerate (freeze protein shakes) upon delivery, and follow the provided heating instructions when you're ready to enjoy them.

9. What is the minimum order requirement?

We don't have a strict minimum order requirement, but we recommend ordering enough meals to cover your needs for the week. 

10. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and online payment platforms. You can find the available options during the checkout process.

11. What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?

We take allergies and dietary restrictions seriously. At this time we can not accommodate customers with serious allergies as we can not guarantee cross contamination.  If you have food sensitivities typically we can make accommodations, please chat with us on here or send an email to jessicabrooks@rxfituel.com with your question regarding food sensitivities or dietary restrictions.
